While the past six years have passed, Kenya had continued to bleach his hair (spending all of that allowance on hair bleach), been in a garage band (he played the drums), and proceeded to act like a normal high school boy. While in High School, he continued to play tennis as well, his stamina and speed only increasing as the years passed by. He stayed primarily in doubles during the whole time though, only straying to singles when he was needed. His best friend in high school (and crush, though he has yet to actually admit it, even to himself, since he convinced himself that he was straight) was Shiraishi through and through.

The garage band had been an interesting experience on his part, he hadn’t ever imagined being asked to play the drums in a band before. At that point in time, he had only played the drums for his own amusement. It hadn’t been the most successful band on earth, but he was rather glad of that he experienced it. He wants to join a band again sometime again for fun, but hasn’t found one yet that was in need of a drummer.

He still has his iguana as well and he makes sure to bring it with him everywhere he goes. Whiz has been his faithful pet since middle school, and he doesn’t consider going anywhere new without his iguana. The most he can hope, and has hoped, is that his roommates don’t mind the fact that there’s an iguana in their room, for he had an incident his freshman year of college that involved his roommate screaming, and almost throwing the poor reptile out the window.

His major in nuclear engineering came about when he arrived at high school and started taking the subjects of chemistry and physics along with his math classes. He had an immense enjoyment in the subjects, and was excited to find that he could become an nuclear engineer, which combined the subjects that he really liked. He went to Kyoto for his first two years of college, and by the time he reached mid-sophomore year, he decided that he wanted to specialize in nuclear medicine. He wanted to come back to Osaka for his last two years of college, so he applied to schools in Osaka, and his hoping that he gets accepted into the nuclear engineering program.
